SUMMARY:Kaokoland / Damaraland Odyssey Tour - May 09 - 20 - 2026
DESCRIPTION:-Kaokoland\, The best motorcycle adventure on the planet. \n \nKaokoland Odyssey is a true ‘AFRICAN ADVENTURE.  The tour visits  the regions of Kaokoland and Damaraland in the remote north west of Namibia. We meet in the Capital Windhoek or the coastal town of Swakopmund (see tour details) The standard tour package is 11 riding days but can be between 9 and 14 days  for packaged groups. It is not without reason Kaokoland is known as Africa’s ‘last unspoiled wilderness’. The tour is a giant loop into this truly remote wilderness with the Cunene River the northern most point of the journey. Along the way you’ll cross great variations of terrain\, from rich grass lands\, rugged rocky climbs\, lengthy navigable dry river beds\, desert plains and the Skeleton Coast. The region is a vast unfenced game park with herds of antelope\, giraffe and desert elephant roaming free. We’ll get to meet the Himba People\, a semi-nomadic tribe that live seemingly untouched by the modern world. The women are instantly recognisable by the red dye that covers their bodies as protection from the sun and insects. Our accommodation ranges from stunning bush lodges\, guesthouses to remote bush camps.
