It’s time for The WildWood Orange River Wild Ride again.
This tour is for experienced riders only with plenty of rough 4×4 tracks, deep tweespoor sand and rocky paths. Not enduro tough but a good challenge for the bigger twins. We’ve been doing some exploring and discovered a couple of exciting new tracks for 2018. Many of the tracks have been used in past Amageza and Baja events as well as a couple of our secret routes.
We meet in Van Rhynsdorp, only 300km from Cape Town on Wednesday evening (18 July) to ride early on Thursday morning. We aim to be back at Van Rhynsdorp early Sunday afternoon, leaving good time to be back in Cape Town before dark.
Those wanting to ride their bikes from Cape Town are free to join me on Wednesday morning for a scenic ride through the Cederberg to meet the crew at Van Rhynsdorp in the evening.
The price of ZAR6500 includes four nights B & B (sharing) , a back-up/support 4×4 to carry all the gear, fuel for the remote areas, basic spares and satellite phone.
We only take a maximum of 8 riders for a compact ride experience without the long boring waiting around of larger tour groups.
A deposit of ZAR3500 secures your place.
WildWood has a fleet of 2016/17 KTM690R Enduro and Husqvarna 701’s available to rent for the tour at ZAR6000 (Excludes ZAR15000 refundable accident damage deposit).
