The MAGWA FALLS are situated within the 1800 hectare Magwa Tea Plantation between the town of Lusikisiki and Mboyti on the Wild Coast.

A water drop of 142 metres ranks Magwa Falls as the 4th highest in South Africa. (Consider the great Niagara Falls only come in at 108 metres).

We visit these magnificent falls early on day 4 of our Wild Coast / Lesotho / Drakensberg tour. An 8km jeep track through South Africa’s last remaining tea plantation leads to a river crossing and a 5 minute hike to the view in the pics. Breathtaking for sure.
