Guide / Personalized Tour: let WildWood guide you on your own personalized tour. Wether it’s for a day or a couple of weeks, on technical challenging paths or tar highways we cater for groups from 1 to 8 riders. Look at our fixed tour options for inspiration or simply tells us what you have in mind and together we can plan your ride adventure. We offer route planning, arranging accommodation and logistics or even just ask John to guide your tour.

Tour Choice:. Let us introduce you to some of South Africa’s most scenic places – from the rugged West Coast fynbos to the majestic Cederberg mountains; from the rocky open desert plains of the Tankwa Karoo to the World Heritage site Baviaanskloof; the spectacular Garden Route or Route 62. And if you feel like just exploring the stunning Western Cape Winelands or a ride around the Cape Peninsula, we can arrange that too. And of course our signature adventure, The Kaokoland in Northern Namibia.

Accommodation: Our recommended choices of accommodation range from luxurious 4 star guest houses to remote camping in a tent with fireside meals , or a combination of both. Wherever you stay be sure you’ll have good coffee.

Rental Bikes: Our own rental bikes are KTM 690R and Husqvarna 701’s ideal for our more technical tours and we have Yamaha XT660R /1200 Ternere’s, BMW1200 & 800 GS’s as well as Honda CRF1000 Africa Twin and 250 Rally’s available as well. Riding gear and luggage options are also available for hire.

Some of the more technical routes like the Kaokoland  and Orange River routes are not suitable for pillions but most routes are or can be easily adapted to be pillion friendly and accessible to less experienced  riders.

Enquire about the option of a support vehicle to accompany the tour and carry your luggage .

We also offer a videographer and drone pilot to accompany your tour and produce a short professionally  edited production of the tour on request.
