Owner, John Wood is an experienced guide, avid adventurer, ex motorcycle enduro racer and keen mountain biker who takes pride in his encyclopaedic knowledge of the roads less travelled, which he takes every opportunity to expand. John tries to lead every trip, whether it’s a day ride around the Cape Town Peninsula or a month in the African outback.

PHILOSOPHY

The thrills of riding a powerful adventure motorcycle over challenging terrain is as important to us as are the stunning destinations we travel in Africa. We’ve ridden every track and road we take you on and your lodgings are selected to compliment your unique Southern African experience. No tourist traps or bland generic hotels here. Instead you are guaranteed a unique Southern African adventure. Our tours are aimed at experienced motorcyclists with some off road riding experience.

THE BIKES

For South Africa and Lesotho we offer late model KTM690R  motorcycles as rentals on all our tours (with soft luggage for unsupported rides) and in Namibia we also offer Suzuki DRZ400’s for the Kaokoland Tours. Alternatively we can offer KTM890 and 1090 Adventure R models, Yamaha XT1200 Tenere , Yamaha XT660R, Honda Africa Twin 1000, and most BMW GS models.
